When you can't just do church anymore!

When enough is enough for us:
Wow! That's what comes to mind today in my heart. You see I love the fellowship I get from attending what we reference as church. I rely on it actually to keep me grounded and transparent with others.
This year has been one of refinement that's led to my "Wow"! A few months back while giving a message, I felt this yearning for something more to be done. All that I could say is I can't continue to do church as we've done it anymore. I just couldn't escape or ignore a strong dislike for traditional Christianity in my own life and ministry. This has driven myself and others to our knees seeking His face! I have grown accustomed to saying before God, I don't know what to do or what I'm missing? For some that's a lack of faith. To me it's honest faith and humility. I don't feel anxious about it, simply because I understand He understands my heart. So I have faith in God but not necessarily with my understanding. We set out with our church to pray for wisdom and clarity as we felt a shift coming. I kept hearing the Lord say, "How will the lost know you care and love them unless you show them?". So I proposed we show we care more for them than we do attending our traditional ways of church life. To be clear, we don't think it's wrong to uphold traditional services. We felt compelled to check our hearts about it. We then decided that we should make ourselves a light of hope and love while others already attend a fellowship on Sunday's our traditional day of rest. So we are praying for ways to show love and pray for those who will ask for it. It's no longer about the four walls that can trap us if we aren't careful. It's about valuing people who we don't yet know. We are praying against many real problems of darkness in our community and beyond it. We are saying lets go be an answer to prayers to. So this week we begin our first Saturday night service. We will experience Him I'm certain because we love Him and He loves us and it shows up. Did I mention that not only are we shifting our services but also changing our name too. After 11 years, from Freedom Center to The Fathers Heart International Ministries. We are stepping out in faith for a new place of fellowship also. It's truly a walk of faith with many things we have yet to know. Wow is what I still say because He knows how to lead and we know how to follow. If you're feeling discontented maybe it's time to shift from your comfort zone? Just follow Him no need to rush it when you let patience He's giving to establish everything He's spoken. Sincerely, His son
