Just in case you missed it...

I believe over the years I have probably misjudged people more than I would like to think. Trouble comes when we are right about some things we sense but do not accurately know everything we should. For example, at times you come across people who are not at first friendly and we begin judging them drawing several conclusions based on our first impression. Now we might be right in that they weren't friendly to us. However, there could be a hundred different reasons why they aren't. Some people just do not do well with meeting people and feel awkward doing that. I'm guilty at times with this. Depending on my day and what's going on in my mind, I might not say anything to people. Other days I'm an extrovert wherever I may be. I've personally gotten better at this due to my heart being so free from me that I'm becoming free from fear and worries. It translates to less on my heart and mind, affecting how friendly I feel.
At the worst case scenario you're right about your judgement of someone and still we are asked to be kind one to another. We are instructed to love others just as we should love ourselves. The best case scenario is that you're missing who someone is inwardly and caught them on an off day. Try again to get to know someone tomorrow if your able to. It could be a best friend, future spouse, or just someone who needs a listening ear. Either way my point is to let God decide who people are. If He tells you they are kind and trustworthy believe Him. You might be told to be confidential in with people who seem to be trustworthy and appear to be friends, who later deceive you. Forgive them out of choice. Let them go and not allow the spirit of suspicion to keep your mind trapped by judgments. Be free to fail but get back up and follow after Jesus. On your journey you will be made whole if you will return to Him and give Him the Glory for what great things He has done.
